Canyon tile of 600x600 meters, tileable in both directions. Detail and normal maps. Two variants provided:
1 Unity 3D v3 package with the adapted 3D Studio Max 9 file lying in the Assets folder on import. This version has a custom shader and material for high visual impact. It also only uses just one UV channel. The landscape is split into 4 quadrants with a 2048x2048 texture on each one.
Late addition of the windy vegetation shader: put it in the /Assets, choose it instead of the Vegetation.shader and adjust wind frequency and strength sliders in the material.
2 The ordinary Max file has a material hierarchy for better realism, material is a Composite material with 2 filter maps. Main texture and normal maps are 2048x2048. Two map variants: green and dry riverbed. Edge normals have been edited to give a natural lighting transition between two tiles. Separate vegetation file provided for scattering. All textures power of 2.
