Faithful and accurate Reconstruction of a Roman Ship Liburna B, as from remains and evidence.

In battle all the sails were usually hauled down and kept reefed.
This Liburna required only 1 helmsman who sat on the central seat moving the Rudders.
The Prow Tower was used by the ship Commander, especially during close-combat, in order to control the movements of the marines during the boarding. This Tower could also be used by archers or some light artillery.
Close-Combat marines were usually Infantry Legionaries trained for Naval Warfare: they had the same equipment as infantry, but usually had a blue tunic instead.
The cushion of the helmsman can be cloned and used for the oarsmen. In fact usually every oarsman had his own cushion.

In the package you will find:

2- Ship Prow UVMapped with Commander Tower and sculpted Bronze Wolf Head Rostrum;
