Photorealistic model of W.H. Gispen´s 414 chrome-plated tubular steel armchair complete with materials for Vray 2.0. Model is based on the manufacturer's original dimensions and technical data and modelled to real-world scale (cm).
The Gispen 414 is what is known as a 'ladies' armchair'. A Chrome-plated tubular armchair without back legs. Features characteristic armrests in black Bakelite. Seating material comes in a few different colors of leather and in manchester rib but can easily be adapted into any color. The seating cushions are unwrapped and the ribcord detail is achieved by using a ribcord displacement map.
All models and parts are named meaningful, grouped together and conveniently put on their own layer. In the max files the model can be found multiple times with the different material versions and are named accordingly for easy importing in your own scene.
3DsMax 2012 is the native file format, file is also saved as a max2010 version and the model exported as OBJ and fbx. The Max Rar archives includes the chair and the studio environment. The OBJ and fbx only include the chair model.
