You get:
Lightwave 8 scenes:
1) a Fly Loop and
2) a Landing scene.
3) a Base scene.
3 Max8 scenes:
1) a Fly Loop and
2) a Landing scene.
3) a Base scene.
To speed up scene set up you can Turn off the morphs temporarily by selecting the Hummingbird object and clicking off the lightbulb next to 'Morphs' in the Objects roll down.
Moving the rigged object can get squirrly if you want to move it or rotate beyond the origin.
To position your model initially, at frame 1 do the following:
• Turn off 'Autokey'
• Select: 'LT Foot Control', 'RT Foot Control' and 'Root Control'
• Group
• Move to start position
• UnGroup
• Animate
Be sure to ungroup before animating as you will run into problems.
If you set keyframes and then ungroup you will loose you keyframes.
Always move the model by first selecting the 'LT Foot Control', 'RT Foot Control' and 'Root Control' control points.
The feet will move and twist somewhat while moving the model, so some readjustment will be required, especially after rotations. It is the nature of the IK beast.
