The Gubi Olsen Collection The chair is built on a frame of solid wood covered by polyurethane foam. The detachable and reversible seat cushion is made of polyurethane foam and is supplied with springs. The upholstery on the frame is fixed.
Always with a global outlook, Gubi Olsen, founder of Gubi, has created his own unique post-modernistic expression. The inspiration comes from the rich Danish traditions of craft and furniture production, mixed with historical and visual references, such as French cinema, Napoleon Bonaparte and a grand piano.
The Gubi Olsen Collection includes a wide range of lounge and seating furniture, the Diva Daybed from 1982, the Grand Piano from 1986, the Louis series from 1988 and the Bonaparte series and Inuit, both from 1990.
Materials: Available in a wide range of fabrics. The legs are available in steel, oak and black stained beech.
