A 750 frame animation present in Max 2017 and 2014 files, showing the pieces of the unit one by one and drug charging. You can use the animation clips by simply copying keyframes. You can also check for the motion limits of each piece during drug recharging and create your own animation after starting a new scene keeping mesh and hierarchy at the start frame.
Pivots and linking is setup perfectly for your efficiency. The invisible spring inside the button is also modeled and rigged with linked xform modifier. This is the only automated motion in this model. It squeezes automatically as you move the button down. Dummies are present for your easy rotation.
I've originally created the model in realsize. (The casing should be approximately around 7.55cm in height.) However I needed to give it to the hands of a 3d character with a bad unit setup and that forced me to resize the unit to its current value. Since this was the latest version of the model, I ran the entire retouching for Turbosquid over this version.
An original sized version is also present in files section with a name prefix 'realsize' without the animation. File is version 2014. Linking is ok but it requires some correction with the booleans. (On the transparent casing piece)
If you like to resize the final model to its realsize you'll have to resize the scene from 100% to 0,61%. Value represents 1-(1/2.56) where 2.56 is the amount of cm's in an inch.
I would love to give you a correctly resized model, but I preferred giving an editable one instead. Unfortunately resizing is a problem with 3ds max. For most resizing commands, you'll need to collapse the models or the animation to keep the integrity. That's why I've left it editable.
