Mndash-boy, which means 'Mndsh-guy', or Mndash-pyhrre, i.e. 'Mndash-good', so according to the Sami mythology is called a werewolf deer. He was the totem of the Sami - their ancestor. There are various interpretations of this mythical character. One by one, Myandash is the son of a shaman (nioda), Codd-Akki ('Savage Pulp'), which conceived him from a wild deer, being in the image of a vazhenka. Codd-Akka later turns into a woman, but the child is still born a deer. When Myandash learns the truth about his father, he leaves people and goes to the tundra. After Miyadash appeared in a pack of wild deer, people get the opportunity to hunt these animals.
