SHORT DESCRIPTION: Object based on the real different prototypes of wooden wine barrels. Used mixed art technique like objects used in Dishonored game. Something between real material and art-like materials. Good for gunpowder as well as for rum. Few bended boards, couple of iron rings. Perfetly fits fantasy-style projects, causal games and games of pirate-thematics.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION: Package included 3 high-resolution textures and one wood barrel model. Also package included two scenes. With the simple barrel and similiar group of barrel with the different lights. You can see result of render on preview screens.
Both scenes have a 3 typical for 3D Studio MAX lights - 2 omni lights and Sky Light for immitation of ambient occlusion. One omni light used for warm sun color, second for cold blue color. This method often used in movies.
GAME READY: This model is ready for game import. Techniques of creation all of my models imply import in different game engines. All textures have a correct sizes, correct names with separate prefixes on types of textures (diffuse, specular, normal) and have a well made and checked geometry.
EACH SCENE INCLUDE: model diffuse texture normal texture colored specular texture background plate (you can remove it if needed) 2 omni lights (warm and cold) 1 Sky Light
FORMATS: Native file format is 3D Studio Max 2010, but for best integration in package included versions of this model in OBJ and FBX formats.
FILE LIST (package): wooden_barrel_2_simple.max - native scene wooden_barrel_2_group_render.max - group of barrels wooden_barrel_2_simple.FBX wooden_barrel_2_simple.obj wine_barrel_2_diffuse.tga wine_barrel_2_normal.tga wine_barrel_2_specular.tga readme.txt - all description and formats for good memory
NOTES: Exported formats has no bugs, UV works correctly. Obviously there is no light in exported formats.
Like all my scenes this scene is handy to use and easy to modify. In this product there is no problem with multiplied materials and textures. Object has assigned only one material so there is no annoying Multi/Sub-Object materials.
Each scene used standard lights and you have no problems with the external specific renders. Just open scene and made a click on the render icon. 3D - it's easy.
