The Watson table is named after James Watson, the American scientist famous for discovering the helical structure of DNA. Using a combination of aerospace composite technology and traditional woodworking, the twisting legs are built by hand using a unique layered construction.Ash wood and carbon fiber.
This is an extremely detailed model of aTable. The model consists of 9 separate objects. All elements have been cleanly poly modeled with no intersecting geometry and proper supporting edges. To make object/scene management easier, the objects have been attached into 1 group which makes the file much easier to work with.
- Subdividable, detailed and clean mesh geometry - Suitable for close-up shots - X,Y,Z (0,0,0) SET
ORGANIZATION OF SCENE The file is well organized and contains a proper naming convention, as well as separate layers for the geometry and lights. All maps and materials are also correctly named to match the geometry.
Lighting No Light Setup included Renders have no postprocessing.
TEXTURES & MATERIALS Textures included and set for vray render.
POLYCOUNT This model contains 70,975 polygons. This model contains 70,995 vertices.
FORMAT NOTES File formats other than 3ds Max exported as base mesh (not smoothed). Model is built to real-world scale. Units used: cm No third-party renderer or plug-ins.
