This is a low-poly model made for third-person or first-person shooter games. Model is detailed, but not to a ridiculous level; so some faces that you cannot see within the model, or during an animation sequence (like a firing/reload animation) have been deleted - to save on memory.
For animation use, you will need to parent the different pieces together.
