This model is based upon, but not identical to, a famous child's toy made by Fisher Price. The toys were made of wood and plastic in the 1960s, and all plastic more recently. Small design variations have occured over the years. This 3D model is not intended as an accurate replica of any particular version, but was made custom for a certain still imaging project. Feel free to tweak it as needed. It is not animated or rigged.

The blender model uses Cycles nodes for textures. Texture files used are (I believe) included in the .blend, but also have been uploaded as image files. The Popper.dome materal uses path type trickery to allow lights to shine upon the contents, and the contents to be seen through refraction. Generally, all textures are clean and fairly simple. You will have to add your own scuff marks, scratches, gunk, peeling paint etc. The wheels do have slight scruffing.

The file has four layers:
* First layer has almost all the parts of the push-popper.
* Second layer has the clear dome and four nailheads on its rim.
* Another layer has lights, cameras, and props for the demo images. Some lights were moved to a fourth layer to be easily turned on/off for demo images.

All demo lights, cameras and other objects are parented to an empty named Popper.demo.   Two balls belonging to the demo are outside the dome for lighting and rendering comparisons.

Mesh demo images were made with a technique that doesn't always draw every edge.

The parent object for all parts of the toy the Popper.MainBase, the white main part under the dome. Move this to move the whole thing (or add your own manipulator.) Be careful not to grab the narrow cylindrical label which wraps around the base part.   

The .obj was created from Blender, reloaded as a test in Blender, but not yet (as of Sept 2013) verified in any other 3D modeller.
