This is a model of a Medieval wooden tankard (a.k.a. flagon or stein) generally found in a tavern or brothel.
The images above are with one iteration of Turbosmooth (8,946 polys). They are rendered in Mental Ray, but the product does not require it. The materials are all standard, so this model should function properly in any workflow.
This product was modeled with clean topology in mind. Most polys are quads with less than 2% of the model is triangles.
Both pieces are UV unwrapped with no overlapping and blended seams for high quality. both pieces are layed out on the same 2048x2048 textures. The product contains two texture maps, one for the diffuse channel, the other is a bump map.
The lid is modeled separately and linked to the body so that the pivot is exactly on the hinge. Wile it is not technically 'rigged', the lid's transform controllers are locked so it can never be accidentally removed or rotated on the wrong axis. To change this, simply enter the link information panel to unlock it's controllers.
I have included an FBX 2006 conversion for backwards compatibility with many different software packages.
If you require a conversion to another format, please contact TurboSquid's live support. They will convert the file free of charge, and will test their conversion before making your purchase. It truly is a fantastic service. :)
