This model has been developed to be suitable for mid range renders and animations. I have included a scene file with the several layers already parented, to ease up setting up your scene. Some of the parts have been rigged so that they can be animated rotating a single null object. Those parts are:
- ICBM hatches - Direction finder mast hatches - ESM mast hatches
Rotating the corresponding null on the bank axis will open/close those hatches.
Every layer has been clearly named to avoid confusion, same goes for the surface names.
Every surface has its own UV map, no overlapping maps.
The texture images are in png format, their resolution spans from 1024 to 4096 pixels, depending on the surface. The following channels have been texture mapped:
- Color - Diffuse - Specular - Gloss - Normal
Note: The native Lightwave format is the only one that has been rigged. The additional formats will need some minor pivot tweaking for the hatches to be animated.
