Rendered with Max Scanline renderer with radiosity. The file has been setup with a daylight light system with environment ambient to lighten shadows (Renders 1600x1600 file in 35sec with slower 2.4GHz X2 Dual Core Processor with 4 gig ram and 64bit windows).
Complete archive with complete project file structure. Simply unzip, open max, set the project folder in Max and load file. The file includes reasonably named objects and materials native to Max. The scale of the stadium and scene can be adjusted or changed simple by scaling or transforming ‘Scale_transform_stadium’ (helper object) allowing for simple placement and scale in your scene.
No N-gons, mesh is in quads and tris. Real world - scale dimensions, pitch 105m x 68m. Centred to world.
