This is a model of Soviet Tank Hunter - ISU-152 or Object 704 which was a prototype tank developed in 1945.
At the moment of publishing this is the most detailed, realistic and accurate Object 704 ever made in 3D which is on sale. It was built from scratch according to real historical documents, blueprints and schemes, using over 200 photo references and footage. Building this model was long and took almost 4 months to be finished.
The model uses 100% square polygons. All the supporting edges are placed where they're required to keep the right shape after mesh smoothing or subdivision. There was no smoothing modifiers applied to the selling model.
NOTE: There's no interior modeled.
Originally created in Blender v2.79 and rendered in Cycles render Engine.
\\ MODEL USAGE //
This model is suitable for use in (broadcast, high-res film closeups, advertising, design visualization, forensic presentation, etc).
\\ SPECS //
The model contains 258 separate objects including 5 empty objects for easier operating and 1 camera with set up angle and focus point (check the attached outliner screenshot).
There're 20 materials used.
The model contains 1,807,531 polygons without subdivision and 7,230,124 polygons with subdivision at level 1.
The model contains 1,807,531 (100%) quads.
\\ PRESENTATION IMAGES //
All preview images are rendered with built-in Cycles Renderer.
Lights and scenes/backgrounds are NOT included in the file.
If you render this file using a different renderer, you may not have the same results as you see in the product page. However, since the model uses metalness workflow PBR textures, it should be possible to easily and smoothly integrate this model into your projects without loss of quality.
\\ TEXTURES //
The model includes 64 textures in PNG format from 2K to 8K. All grouped alphabetically into 16 logical groups each corresponding to certain parts of the model. Each group includes 4 textures to create realistic PBR metalness workflow shader (Check the screenshots for better understanding).
a) Hull - 8K
b) Hull Electrics - 2K
c) Cabin - 8K
d) Cabin Rooftop - 4K
e) Pioneer Tool - 2K

m) Idler Wheels - 2K
n) Drive Sprockets - 2K
o) Suspension Parts - 4K
p) Track - 2K
\\ GENERAL //
Model is built to real-world object scale.
Units used: Centimeters. Dimensions (w-l-h): 325 cm-792 cm-218 cm.
Scene objects are placed into a single layer.
The entire model can be moved/rotated/scaled using a single empty box object placed at 0:0:0.
No third-party renderer or plug-ins needed.
\\ ADDITIONAL NOTES //
The model can be easily rigged and animated if needed. The main gun, tracks, wheels and some other small parts are designed to look correctly if rigged and moved.
Clean Source File does not have the presentation stage set-up and lights so it will not render like in the preview images, even though the renderer settings are retained.
- Original quality is only guaranteed on .blend format.
- Please keep the textures inside the same directory as the model in order to work properly.
