This high poly model is build very near to scale and is within a couple of percent of the actual dimensions. It has a detailed exterior including radio antennas and pitot tubes. Landing gear have been finished with a moderate amount of detail too. Some interior cockpit and rear compartment detail is also modeled and textured. The Douglas Conair 322 was an aircraft modified from previously produced B-26 Invaders to be used in forest fire fighting as a water bomber. These aircraft had the larger engines like the Marketeer and had the Bombay converted to a water tank with a fast working release valve to bomb fires from the air. These aircraft served all over North America well into the 1990s.
