A physics enabled medium poly chest. The lid opens when 'E' is pressed and held in the Blender GE (can be changed). This is not an animation - it is a physics, torque based setup. It is very realistic - the hasp bounces around as the lid shuts. This is a ball joints, contstraints and physics set up. Please save a copy of this before experimenting - you can't change much and have it work as it does. The setup took a long time to get working very well, and the result is very realistic. You could add a key requirement and a simple lock to enhance it.
It includes 1024 px sq. tileable wood and iron textures, AO maps on separate channels, normal maps for the bolts and diffuse maps etc. Highly detailed.
