The North American Aviation P-51 Mustang is an American long-range, single-seat fighter and fighter-bomber used during World War II, the Korean War and other conflicts. The definitive version, the P-51D, was equipped with a bubble canopy for improved visibility, powered by a license-built version of the Merlin 60 series supercharged engine, armed with six .50 caliber machine guns. The model is a P-51D in the colors of 'Hun Hunter / Texas' second P-51 assigned to Lt. Henry Brown. Credited with 14.2 aerial and 14.5 ground victories, Henry Brown was the top-scoring pilot of the 355th Fighter Group.
