OVERVIEW/RENDERING: ----------------- The Old Sneakers Model was created using photogrammetry (agisoft photoscan), zbrush (for retopologizing and UV unwrapping), and Cinema 4D. This is a photorealistic model with 41413 polygons PER SHOE (quads) and 41401 vertices PER SHOE; there are no n-gons and the mesh is clean and optimized. The preview renders were generated using Cinema 4D's PHYSICAL RENDERER (standard renderer for wireframes) using global illumination and depth of field. The scene was lit using only a physical sky (and global illumination). All textures are 4096x4096 (diffuse[ color], height [bump], ambient occlusion, normal [normal]). Vignette on previews were added in Photoshop. Render times were generally quick (on a medium-power machine) and the results are very detailed.
TEXTURES: ----------------- There are 4 texture images included (provided for all formats [c4d,obj,fbx]) which are all 4096x4096 png. 1) OldSneakers_Diffuse.png [Color/Diffuse channel] 2) OldSneakers_AO.png [Layered in color channel] 3) OldSneakers_Height.png [Bump channel] 4) OldSneakers_Normal.png [Normal channel]
A preview of these can be seen in the product previews. UV unwrapping was done with zbrush and are extremely optimized.
MATERIALS: ------------------- Scene comes with 3 materials: 1) OldSneakers Material (applied to the mesh; includes all channels) 2) BG Material (a blue material for the background) 3) A floor material (shiny blue floor material)
COMPATIBILITY: ----------------------- Three .rar files are provided, each includes all 4 textures and the mesh in its relevant format (either c4d,obj,fbx)
The Cinema 4D file was made in R16 but will work with other versions (low versions should use reflection/specular channels instead of reflectance). Paths are stripped and will load automatically.
The OBJ version includes the (properly UV'd) mesh (along with a folder of the textures),
The FBX version has materials/textures included but the texture folder is also provided (drag relevant textures to corresponding channels in whichever program you use)
