Realistic model of an old style desk Globe. It was created with 3ds Max. Studio Light Rig and cameras are included. It was rendered with V-Ray renderer.
The model is built to real-world scale. It is centered in the origin. Units used: mm. Scene objects are organized by groups. The model consists of two objects: Globe and Support. In this way the globe can be rotated around its z axis. Both objects include a turbosmooth modifier with which geometry can be easily subdivided.
