---General Information--- This is a detailed model of a takeout cup with separate plastic lid. The inside of the cup and lid have been modeled allowing them to be rendered from any angle without issue. The lid can be removed, repositioned or deleted if needed.
The cup has been modeled following real-world construction with an overlapping seam down the side and around the bottom for added realism.
Model features quad based geometry (no triangles or n-gons) and is built to real-world scale using cm (Centimeters). Model is 16.38 cm (6.4 Inches) tall.
Model is constructed using a non-destructive workflow with the modifier stack intact, allowing the subdivision level to be changed or completely removed without issue. File comes with 1-iteration of Turbosmooth applied to each object, which is recommended for standard renders. 2-iterations are recommended for close-ups, but again these can be changed or removed if needed.
---Organization---- The file is well organized and contains a proper naming convention, as well as separate layers for the geometry and lights. The cup and lid are also grouped for easy movement.
---Lighting--- The file includes a studio lighting rig consisting of 3 VRay lights, as well as image based lighting (IBL) for additional environment lighting and reflections. The HDRI image is included with the file and all render settings are already setup in Vray and ready to go. All preview images shown were rendered using VRay with the same settings.
---Textures & Materials---- Includes extremely high resolution 4K (4096x4096) textures for the cup and lid, and all materials/shaders. The environment image (HDRI) has a resolution of 15000x7500 and is included with the file as well.
---UVs--- All elements have been unwrapped and are non-overlapped allowing each uv cluster to receive unique uv space. A second Unwrap UVW modifier has been applied to each object above the first Turbosmooth modifier allowing the subdivided UVs to be relaxed a second time to remove any UV distortion caused by the first iteration of subdivision. This will allow the model to be subdivided further without distorting the UVs.
