This is Scales of Justice, is rigged to animate. There is a control curve for rotation of the arm. The curve has a custom attribute called Smooth. Set the attribute from 0 to 3 if so desired to subdivide certain pieces of the geometry. Not all geometry has smooth nodes.
This scene was built in Maya 2010 and rendered using mental Ray Final Gather with an HDRI on a sphere. The HDRI image is not provided here. Images were composited in Photoshop CS6 using occlusion.
Poly and Vert counts are totals for the Scale geometry with the smooth set to 1.
