This is a realistic model of Hand Painted Grandfather Clock.
V-Ray render and materials. Only quads and tris polygons. All maps are included. All objects have materials. All objects are named, all objects have 100% scale Unwrapped UVs. No flipped faces. No overlapping vertices. No isolated vertices.
Native format: 3Ds Max 2009. additional file formats : fbx (Turbosmooth Off) obj (Turbosmooth Off) Materials are used only in 3Ds Max 2009 and FBX files. The OBJ version has no materials, but the OBJ archive contains all the textures
The Hand Painted Clock is composed of 2 different painted wood materials: Painted Wood and Shabby Painted Wood, which level of the surface aging can be easily varied from absolutely new to the more time-worned, than it is in the pictures.
For ease of use, these materials are contained in separate archives, that's why there are 2 archives for 3Ds Max 2009 format, 2 archives for fbx format and one for obj format. These two materials are shown in the pictures.
The material Painted Wood is created with material VrayMtl. The material Shabby Painted Wood is created with material Blend, so that it could be saved in both 3Ds Max 2009 and FBX formats. The level of the surface aging can be easily varied from absolutely new to the more time-worned, than it is in the pictures. It can be achieved by just changing the radius parameter value in vrayDirts in Mask. By increasing it to be larger, than the one on the scene, will amplify the aging effect to be more, than the one in the picture. Whereas by reducing the vrayDirts parameter value, to be less than the one on the scene, will decrease the aging effect relatively to the one in the pictures. If VrayDirts radius= 0, than the material painted wood will be new. Doing no change will keep the result as it is in pictures. The model is completely ready to be used.
The light rig/HDRI is not included.
