Description
3d model military tank Renault FT-17.Developed in 1916-1917 under the leadership of Louis Renault as a tank in direct support of infantry. Adopted by the French army in 1917. Produced about 3,500 copies. In addition, the Renault FT-17 was produced under license in the USA under the name M1917 (Two Man Ford) (released 950 copies), and in Italy under the name FIAT 3000. A modified copy also issued in Soviet Russia called 'Russian Renault'. There are three versions on the Dating of the last use of the tank. The first occurs in Western sources: the Paris uprising of the French against the German occupiers in August 1944, the Second is given in Russian sources: a clash between Chinese and Japanese troops at the fortress of Hanoi in August 1945, the Third also occurs in Russian sources: clash between French and Japanese troops in Saigon in 1945.
