This high poly model is build very near to scale and is within a couple of percent of the actual general dimensions.
It has a detailed exterior including radio antennas and pitot tubes. Landing gear have been finished with a moderate amount of detail too. The model is fully textured and the cockpit has a liberal amount of geometric detail as well as textures. It comes with animateable ailerons, flaps, cooling flaps, elevators, rudder, landing gear, landing gear doors and propeller. It has a moderately detailed inverted V-12 liquid cooled engine. The Messerschmitt BF-109 was originally conceived as a defensive interceptor. It began production in the early 1930s and continued as the backbone of the Luftwaffe throughout World War II. More than 33,600 were produced making it the most produced fighter in history. It was modified many times.
