Description
Ganz CSMG Budapest Tram

Accurate model of european streetcar Ganz CSMG, which was produced from 1965 till 1978 and is being widely used in Budapest, Hungary nowadays.

Highly detailed exterior, interior and driver's cabin. All tram details are modeled using calibrated photos.

Model has a real-world scale, placed at (0,0,0) origin.
Centimeter units are used.
All objects at 100% scale. 26 m length, 2.3 m width.
No Ngons, no isolated/coincident verticles.

All objects are in 'Ganz CSMG' layer. No cleaning up necessary. Turn off 'environment' layer, add model to your scene and start rendering. 'environment' layer contains background and lighting to render as on thumbnails.

Doors are opened/closed by moving manipulators (see screenshot)

Pantograph can be lifted up/down by moving Pantograph Upper object. Pantograph springs are stretching accordingly.
This moves can be easily animated.

Tram is ready to be animated along your spline:

- Select 'Ganz_Control_Plane' object under the Tram
- 'Select Path' and click on desired spline
- 'Move to Path'
- Your tram is moving along spline! Wheels are following rails and tram body is bending correctly.

If you want more than one tram in scene, you may want to change board number. Than just change UVs: 4 different numbers presend in texture. Also .psd file allows you to change line number and route.

Model is ready to render with V-Ray renderer. No other plugins needed.
