A low poly farmer character. Fully textured with diffuse, normal and specular maps 2048x2048. Everything is on a single UV map, except the hair, which has its own texture of 256x256 with an alpha channel and also a specular map. The hair's UVs overlap, but all the rest is non-overlapping (each hand and boot has its own separate uv island).
The model comes in 2 versions
-original, higher res : 9136 triangles -lower, reduced version : 5921 triangles
both versions are included in each download
The model has 3 materials. One for clothes, one for the skin (has fake translucency with a slight red emission value) and one for hair, which has its own set of textures.
Basic rigging/skinning was used in the previews to show deformations. It is included, but redoing it better might be recommended, depending on what use is intended for the character. ---------------------------------File formats:
Blender: Everything should be working instantly. Basic rigging is included (bones with deformation).
Maya 2018: Everything is setup, the model has been rescaled and the joints have been fixed for Maya. The materials have been setup for Arnold, as it is the default renderer in Maya 2018 (this version has an additional eye material, as that works better for the eyes on this renderer).
Fbx format: For other software. The mesh itself should work, but materials might need some adjustments in their specularity and some textures may need to be re-connected. The skin material should be given a dark red sss (or emision/ambient value as an alternative). Depending on how bones work in other software, the rigging may need to be redone as the included bones could have problems due to the export.
Obj: Just the basic mesh, textures are included, but materials will need to be redone.
