This model not a replica of a real object, but only an artistic representation of it.
Originally created with 3ds Max 2012 and xNormal. Model were rendered in Unreal Engine 4.11 and Marmoset.
Ready for use in game or realtime presentation.
Model have PBR materials (metalness workflow).
Ready for use with Unreal Engine 4. Product have appropriate archive (***_UE4.rar) which could be used directly in Unreal Engine - just unpack it into your Unreal_Project/Content folder.
In Unreal Engine use item from folder '\Props\BP_Dual_Beam_Assault_Laser_with_Pathfinder.uasset' - it is unreal blueprint setup with ability to ON/OFF lasers.
Model have correct Picatinny mount! You can use this model as an attachment on your weapon!
You can use this model in Unity to achieve similar render results (maps included into archives) but you will need to invert green channel of normal map manualy and assign an appropriate maps into unity metalness shader.
3dsMAX source file provided 'as it is' and contain only geometry (2 lods), collision mesh, UVs and smoothing groups. It also have correct naming of objects and assigned materials. No textures assigned in material slots to avoid texture dublication while exporting files to other formats (such as fbx) and because of incorrect normal map rendering in 3dsMax viewport or scanline. However, you can manually assign texture with suffix '_A' in diffuse slot.
Also, please note, that model have blueprint setup that will work ONLY inside Unreal Engine 4. It DOES NOT contain any RIG in 3dsMax source file!
- 3 materials; - 1 UV layout (unreal project already have additional lightmap layout); - padding set up for minimum to 8 pixels; - 3 main texture maps: Albedo (BaseColor/Diffuse + simple Specular mask in Alpha to make reflective glass in Unreal), Packed (Metalness, Roughness, AO), Normals; - 3 additional 'unpacked' texture maps: Metalness, Roughness, Ambient Occlusion; - all textures are 4K; - all textures are TGA; - in Unreal archive LODs are already binded; - this model consists only from tris and quads; - there're no ngons; - this model is fully unwrapped.
Model is built to real-world scale in centimeters. Model dimensions is (length, width, height): 10.7 x 8.4 x 4.3
