This head model has been artfully crafted to maximize realism, versatility, and ease of use. The photo-realistic proportions and surface detail are combined with an elegant topology that makes it easy to rig and animate. The model is made of 6980 all-quad polys, which makes it easy to deform in real-time without lag. The edge loops have been optimized for animation, while still containing the core surface detail to describe the shape. No displacement maps are necessary. In fact, the model can be rendered without any subdivision at all for medium to long shots, and a simple subdivision is all that is needed for close.
The extreme photographic detail contained in the 4k textures allow for unparalleled realism. Individual pores are visible on the skin. The color texture has been made without any directional lighting, so that it will render correctly in any lighting. Bump, specular, normal and color maps are provided. The uv layout has been designed to make it easy to edit, with just a single uv seam running up the back of the head, and a separate uv island for the mouth interior. The uvs are laid out symmetrically, allowing for easy mirroring. There is plenty of padding between the islands as well as addition space to include other features, such as eyes or teeth.
