Summary: This is a rigged (legs and wings) model of a housefly natively modelled in Cinema 4D R16 and textured in Substance Painter. The model is 668504 polygons however the majority of it is reflected with a symmetry object (so actually about 1264680 polygons). Renders were made using the PHYSICAL RENDERER using global illumination, ambient occlusion, hair renderer, and depth of field. The scene is lit using a sky object with an applied HDRI (can be swapped for different lighting conditions). Hairs are mapped to grow on appropriate geometry (can be disabled for a significant render boost). Object hierarchy is well-named and logical. Rig is a series of IK chains with linked controllers.
Materials/Textures: The project includes 10 materials used for the body/abdomen/head: the majority of these use provided 2048x2048 png texturesets (this includes color, reflectance, bump, normal, luminescence, and transparency for wings).
There are 3 unique materials for hair generation (leg hair, body hair, and head hair)
There are 2 background materials (1 of which has the HDRI for the sky object)
Again, all used textures are provided and mapped appropriately.
Compatibility: RAR file included with cinema 4d project file (R16) and a texture folder
RAR file included with FBX file and the same texture folder. FBX may import without all textures embedded (just import the correct textures)
OBJ also provided without textures/materials (for raw geometry)
