Historical insight : Fort-Louvois (originally named Fort-Chapus) is one of the numerous forts built by Vauban in the late XVIIth century to protect the shores (and military harbors) of France against English and Dutch attacks. Built on a rock near La Rochelle, Fort-Louvois is composed of a lower battery platform, and a higher battery tower, which allowed defenders to shoot the crew of attacking enemy ships from above with musketry or light cannons.
The model : Composed of various sub-objects, it loads with 4 different 4096*4096 and 3 2048*2048 diffuse and normal maps. I have put all the textures in a separate folder to avoid too high download time. A readme with how to unpack the textures for them to load correctly with the various versions of the model is included.
