Notes : The carnation coral is part of the Soft corals. These do not possess a stable interior skeleton but attain their stability by hydrostatic pressure inside the body and by incorporated sclerits. These can often be remarkably colored. Carnation corals are known as pioneer settlers and inhabits from flat lagoons to deep reefs a wide variety of different habitats.
