Realistic 3D model of ball bearing. You can scale it if you need smaller/larger ball bearing.
Model of ball bearing is available in the following formats:
3ds max 2013 (.max): Three .max files with Mental Ray, Scanline and iray materials. Bearing parts are separate objects and are grouped together.
Maya 2013 (.mb): Mental Ray materials.
Blender (.blend): render-ready for integrated Cycles renderer and external Luxrender renderer.
In all of above formats some parts of bearing have mesh smoothing modifiers - you can adjust or remove them if you do not plan to render high-resolution close-up. Stats without mesh smoothing: 4275 verticies or 4446 polygons.
Also, model is exported to the following formats (they may miss materials and some other extra data): COLLADA (.dae) FBX (.fbx) Wavefront (.obj) 3D Studio (.3ds) Each of these non-native formats comes in two versions: low-poly original (4275 verticies or 4446 polygons); high-poly version with enough holding edges for meshsmoothing without setting up creases (32309 verticies or 32287 polygons).
All preview images rendered with mesh smoothing and black environment on transparent background; in preview images transparent background is white. Some preview images rendered with one or both seals hidden so you can see what's inside the bearing. All preview images rendered with Luxrender unless noted otherwise. Wireframe rendered with Cycles. Note that this bearing comes without textures but materials for some renderers may use procedural maps. If you need textured ball bearing please look at my other products.
Bonus.rar contains original render-ready .blend files used to make exploded view with and without wireframe (these are bonus files so they are not provided in other formats; if you want exploded view in other software just move bearing parts away from each other on one axis).
