This checklist is designed to give you a comprehensive overview of hitting the CheckMate Lite certification specification. It is broken out into the major phases of what to do while building your model, as well as what to do when preparing and submitting your model for CheckMate Lite certification.
Many of the links within the checklist will lead you to the relevant Checkmate Training pages. You are also encouraged to review the entire CheckMate Lite specification to get a deeper understanding of each requirement.
- Your model must open without any errors (missing textures or 3rd party plug-ins)
- Ensure your model is either a scene or set, but not a collection, which can’t be certified
- Upon rendering, the model needs to match the submitted published images you provided (both in terms of texturing/lighting, but also in composition and framing of your Context Signature image)
If you follow the guidelines listed above, you will be far more likely to pass CheckMate inspections on your first submission attempt. Of course, mistakes happen, and in those cases, our inspectors will reach out to you personally with specific fixes to help you gain that important CheckMate certification status.
