Xiphactinus Audax 'Sword Ray' (though not a ray, but a bony fish) AKA: 'Bull-Dog Fish'. Discovered in 1870 by Leidy. It may have been the largest bony fish of all time. 14-18 feet. It has a mouth full of 'fangs'. Fossils found in Kansas, but may have lived in much larger areas. Other Large fish were found in stomach of fossil. Including its own species.

Lightwave version includes fully rigged/textured with image maps. Rig is FK, and uses 'Follower' for main tail, allowing body to be animated with one joint. Lightwave model is Sub-Divisional surfaces. Lightwave version comes with scene file as in renders above, with underwater lighting, particles, and caustics.

OBJ and 3ds files do not have rigs or textures applied, but are UV mapped so images can be applied. OBJ and 3ds are Polygons. 3ds has been Trippled.

This model is very accurate and is based on scientific study.

File contains LWO, OBJ, 3ds Versions.
