High quality, high detailed 3D model of the Renault Fluence GT rigged.


This model has a very high quality and detail, the topology consists in 99.5% of quads and 0.5% Tris. Originally made in 3DS Max 2011 and rendered in Vray 2.40.04. The only textures with UV Unwrap are the wheels bump.


The files contain only the car and the rigging controllers, the lights and ambientation are NOT included.


This model comes with a specific rig and animation, so the tires turn depending on the distance of the animation path. The animation has 280 frames where the car turns so you can verify the wheels turning depending the direction of the path. The path is an EDITABLE SPLINE that you can change at your convenience. In the SUPPORTING ITEMS you can find a PDF files that contains the instructions for the rigging.


This rig was developed so you don’t have to change any of the controllers of the scene, or even move them, you only have to change the ANIMATION PATH to your convenience, the car will follow the path, the tires will change the direction as the path turns and the wheels itself will turn dynamically depending on the length of the ANIMATION PATH. That makes that the wheels turn according to the speed of the animation, so they don’t look too slow or too fast.


The model has 1 Subdivision modifier applied only to the parts that require it; this modifier is instanced so you can modify the subdivision level easily. Subdivision level 1 is suitable for most animations and visualizations, subdivision level 2 is adequate to close up renders.
