Our Milky Way Galaxy;
Done with a particle system using in mostly: facing planes, vortex forces and animated maps.

Is not a scientific model, just a 3d model based in concept arts.

Ps.:

1 - The Facing planes Ever looking to camera. named ' Cam_Facing '. So when you will make your camera animations,.. align the source and target of
' Cam_Facing ' to your camera, and link each; to the facing planes look at to your camera right way

2 - Cause the model is vortex animated until frame 7000, he change your original shape with time,...
Case you dont to know he change, have to let him still.
To this, you have in particle View ' 6 ' Turn On all nodes named ' Force_STOP_Particles_DRAG '.
And in Viewport selecting the ' Drag_StopPrticles' in your 'Parameters / Timing / Time On' Set when you want the Galaxy stop, the original files are seted to the galaxy stop your vortex in frame 120( IF the Force_STOP_Particles_DRAG ' pflow nods are turn on). But if you to want can change this stop time too ;

3 - Stopping the vortex, the Nebula Map animation yet keep working, if you to want stop nebula map animation too, you must select Box001 and Box002,and delete your last keyframe in time line ;

Tips and Tricks :
1 - Some images I used Glow effects of After effects Ps production software, like the in first image.
Already Exist a Glow Effects in 3dsMax file too, aplied to material ids 14, you can turn off or increase change your values in : 'Rendering/Environment/Effects/LensEffects/Glow ' ;

2 - May be the scene are slow,
when animating your camera, try open particle view '6' and turn off the main PFsource ( right-click on it / Turn Off),
than you animate based on reference objects and after all your turn on again the main PFsource.
