Thanks for viewing my Chevy Camaro SS convertible! What it is: Part of a thorough reworking of my Camaro models with updated textures and parts to reflect the remade 2012 interior. Also, where the older version was made from blueprints, this version is measured from an actual Camaro vehicle. All parts featured on the car depict the final production version, not a concept or mock-up.
Native format is Maya 2008 and renderer was Mental Ray. Uses standard Maya materials and Mental Ray MIA shaders. No special plugins needed. Model features all the factory colors available for the 2012 model in separate shaders. Included are: Rally Yellow with rally stripes Black Imperial Blue Metallic Red Jewell Tintcoat Inferno Orange Ashen Gray Metallic Silver Metallic Victory Red with rally stripes Summit white with rally stripes Summit White with hockey stripes and 'LS3' labeling. Care and attention was taken to match the factory colors to the real thing. Simply right click in the hypershade on the existing color and click on 'select objects with material' and then go to the one you like and click 'assign material to selection'. Stripes packaging can also be changed using the stripes PSD file also included.
Smoothing: all painted surfaces of the car have edge loops to allow for smoothing. There is a layer created on the Maya version called 'smoothable'. Just select objects and apply smoothing.
