PFlow system set up to emulate a bursting soap bubble. Change animation scale and/or gravity to control the look and speed of the burst.
3ds Max standard material shader, works with the scanline renderer as well as Mental Ray, Iray, VRay, etc.
Included simple studio-type HDR for reflections but the shader will naturally work with any reflection, geometry or environment.
Included Pflow cache file for fast interaction.
Note: This scene will require Thinkbox Frost for meshing. I am sure that you can get acceptable results with the build in meshing tools but I have set this scene up with Frost for fast meshing and a clean result.
Other than Frost, there are no external plugin dependencies.
