The Hawker 400XP was originally developed as the Mitsubishi MU-300 Diamond. Beechcraft purchased the production rights and renamed it the Beechcraft 400. When Raytheon bought the Hawker line of jets they renamed the 400 into the Hawker 400, then incorporating further improvements in 1996 to make it the 400XP. It is a small sized twin-engine corporate aircraft capable of carrying 7 passengers.
