The textures are quite high resolution, and are from photographs on location, later stitched together and colour adjusted with Photoshop. There are 2 plank textures, 2 post textures and one barbed wire texture, all in png format. The planks and posts also have normal maps. The barbed wire is a simple tiled texture on a plane with an alpha channel.
The fence is set up to be very easy to adjust to your liking, with each piece being movable like in real life. The individual planks and posts are elements in the max scene (editable poly/ mesh format), so the fence can easily be adjusted to fit your terrain. It is infinitely extendable as well - whether you want 1 fence piece or 1 million. The low poly count for each piece allows for this extendability (depending on your hardware) and the high res textures have to only be loaded once no matter how many instances you have.
Ideal for games (probably should reduce the texture size though!), but may need chamfering a bit for motion pictures.
