Product Rating
The Carl Gustav recoilless rifle (the original model m/48). Cal. 8,4 cm. With 2 (medium detailed) grenades: 1 anti tank and 1 fractal. The weight of the rifle is for real 14 kg.

The model is good for close ups and is based on the manufacturers original dimensions. It is detailed to a level of 97-98%.

Attached as a - perhaps interesting - supporting item is the original ballistic tag (note: only swedish text).

A simple animation shows how to load the rifle (the model is not delivered in animated mode).

The riflescope can be removed and the reserve sight can be used (by selecting polygons or objects and rotate). The barrel end is openable by using rotate tool.

The native file is 3ds Max 2013 and the rendering is made in Mental Ray, with 1 mr Area Omni and 2 mr Area Spot.

The model has real-world scale and is centered at 0, 0, 0, (the model is 113 cm long).

The Carl Gustav has an amazing accuracy - during an exercise in the north of Sweden, at the height of the Arctic Circle, I received orders to shoot a smoke grenade in a birch, 250 meters away (the deep snow make it impossible to use smoke grenades the normal way...). The birch was 20 centimeters wide and I luckily put the shot right on target! There was a cool and massive smoke development.
