Description
CAMARASAURUS was the most common herbivorous sauropod found in North America during the late Jurassic (145-155 million years ago) reaching lengths of up to 18m and weighing as much as 18 tonnes. Compared to many other sauropods, Camarasaurus was average in size, had a relatively short neck and tail, was very heavily built and possessed larger teeth than it's cousins Apatasaurus, Diplodocus and Brachiosaurus. It's name means 'chambered lizard', referring to the holes or chambers found in its vertebrae. This would have made the neck lighter and easier for the dinosaur to lift and move about.

Shader maps: Diffuse, specular and normalbump. Two additional colour variations are included.
