Description
An accurately scaled and modeled low polygon Bombardier Q100 turboprop regional airliner. With a polygon count of just 3600 this model has been professionally developed for simulation and game use. It is properly uv mapped and fully textured. The primary texture is a 1024 x 1024 bitmap. Included are three liveries of Q100 users, as well as one generic white texture. All control surfaces, including flaps, ailerons, elevators, spoilers, rudder, and landing gear are independent objects for easy animation. There are two included prop versions, one static prop and one spinning opacity mapped prop.

This model is available here in .3ds, .fbx, .flt, .lwo (v 6.0), .max (v 2008), and .obj formats.

The Q100 was originally developed in 1984 by de Havilland Canada as the Dash 8. The name was later changed to Q100 when de Havilland was bought by Bombardier Aerospace. It is a 37-39 passenger plane developed to address the need for a short-haul service airliner. There are over 250 of these aircraft in service worldwide.
