Description
Included is a fully textured and shaded 3D model of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. The model was created after construction documents made freely available to the American public and accurately follows the building's proportions in both elevation and plan. The site extends to a portion of the reflecting pool and the radial walkway around the temple. The model contains the detailed sculpture present along the cornice (see wireframe).

The two urns flanking the front of the temple are partially detailed. Only the actual bowls themselves are missing some intricate sculpture.

Both friezes contain only the names of the states and their denoted numerical entry into the Union(see wireframe).

The coffering under the ceiling of the ambulatory aisle is fully modeled but was only placed along two aisles in order to limit scene geometry.

This model does NOT include: 3D vegetation, the statue of the seated Abraham Lincoln, interior detail.

Originally created in 3DS Max 2014 and rendered with V-Ray 3.0.
