Description
Another popular marine dinosaur, featuring a quality model with clean topology and detailed shader maps.

Elasmosauridae was a family of plesiosaurs. They had the longest necks of the plesiosaurs (between 32 to 76 cervical vertebrae) and survived from the late Triassic to the late Cretaceous (80.5 million years ago). Elasmosaurus was about 14 m (46 ft) in length and weighed over 2,000 kg. The paddles of Elasmosaurus and other plesiosaurs are rigid and specialized for swimming, using their head and shoulders as a rudder. They had a diet of fish and cephalopods.
