The Kidd class Destroyer was designed for the Iranian Navy in the 1970s. However after the revolution the sale was cancelled by the US.
Once the sale was cancelled the ships were renamed and commissioned into the US Navy. They were very much like the Spruance but had some basic differences. The Kidd Class Destroyer was in service until the mid 2000s. It carried the same or very similar weapons systems as the Spruance Class.
These Destroyers are very detailed and built near to scale. It includes a lot of detail on weather decks. Many features are animateable including rudders, propellers, radar antennas, guns, missile launchers, missiles, hanger doors, and others. It comes with all materials and textures and is available in multiple formats.
