======================= MODEL & TOPOLOGY =======================
The model was built on top of a very precise 3D scan of the real female neck. The topology is very clean. It's made mostly of quads, about 95%, and the rest are triangles, so no Ngons are used at all. Triangles are strategically placed in the areas where it won't harm the topology and where it'll keep the good edge flow. The model has a real-world scale.
Model is UV unwrapped with NONE overlapping faces. There are images above showing how the model is unwrapped and with the checker material, so you can see the quality of the unwrap. Model has no skin textures, except for the wooden texture. It has a V-ray skin material that's applied on the model.
V-ray renderer is used to render the images above, so the V-ray plug-in is recommended but not necessary, model can be used without it.
================ EXCHANGE FORMATS & OTHER INFO ================
Model is made in 3ds max 2009, and can be used with any 3ds max above 2009. It is also available in .OBJ format for use in different applications. OBJ versions are exported from Max separately for 6 different applications using the export preset settings, in order to make them fully importable in desired applications with no errors. Below is the list of 3D applications used for import-testing:
