The lawn grass comes in four variations with different polycounts. The most dense variation, suitable for close-up renders, weighs just under 1500 polygons (3000 tris), and the lowest-density model weighs 238 polys (476 tris). The lower-density models can be used for distance shots or as LOD models, and are suitably lightweight to be used in games and other realtime applications. The appearance of the lower density variations is nearly identical to the high-poly version from a distance.
The grass comes in MAX, OBJ and FBX formats. The 3ds max version has a realistic Mental ray material setup in addition to a standard material. The grass has an alpha-mapped diffuse texture, rendered from high-poly grass blade geometry. Textures come in 2048x1024 resolution, and can be downscaled depending on the purpose.
The grass is modeled to real-world scale in centimeters. If you're using the imperial system you may need to rescale the models accordingly.
