Description
E-thirteen chain guide for a downhill mountain bike. This is the LG1 model with bottom bash guard, adjustable bottom roller and top chain guide. This was a real PIA to model because there are so few straight lines to pull measurements off of and almost all side of the guides are curved with weird angled cuts. It was modeled with a caliper so it is accurate to within .001” for the most part but obviously some curves had to be estimated. I tried my best to model the mounting holes accurately but unfortunately I can’t guarantee a perfect fit if your plan is to 3D print parts to fit on an existing guide. However, it SHOULD work in theory and worst case, you will have the original files to modify.

Modeled with Solid Works 2013, rendered with Keyshot 4.1…..

The package includes all the original .SLDPRT files of each individual components along with the assembly files of the guide and it’s sub assemblies in their assembled state. There is also .STEP and .SLDPRT file of the guide in its fully assembled state. If you plan to 3D print some of the parts, I’ve included all the parts in .STL format. There is also a zipped folder containing all the renderings seen in the preview. So you are really getting a nice little package that you can use for either your render scenes, or with 3D printing or CNC hardware.
Enjoy..
